Rugby

ALL the boys in room3 play rugby for Waihora.
Laudis is in the Rippers under 7 team.
Blake and Ethan are in the Waihora White under 8 1/2 team.
Blake and Ethan wrote about their first game.

Blake and me played rugby.
We won. We went to the cloakroom.
The man gave me a coke and a crunchy bar
and a McDonalds voucher.

Our First Rugby Game

On the weekend I went to rugby and it was our first game . We didn' t win but it was a good game. Our score was 10.3. I was always in the scrum. Once I wasn't. I was late for rugby. My Mum came. It was fun. I tackled lots but I didn't get any tries.

The Worm Farms

We had to fix the worm farm because the sun was drying the newspaper in the worm farm.We had to cut the string and the bag.We got more string and a bag. We had black building paper. We held the paper and cut the paper.Then we put the paper on the tyre guard. We put the bag on the tyre guard. We sewed it. We put it on the worm farm and now it won't dry out.

I got a long white ribbon at the A.M.P show. My calf Becky won 4 ribbons and 1 big silver trophy.
She got one red ribbon and two blue ribbons and Reddy won two red ribbons.The little trophy was for all of them.

The Storyteller

The storyteller came to school .He told us two stories.He answered our questions .He played lots of instruments.

A drum the story teller brought was called a hung drum. It was amazing because it was hollow.
It was made of metal. There were little hollow bits on it with the notes in it. It sounded like ballet
muisic.It was a circle and it was black.

When the storyteller lifted out his drum he played lower and higher, higher and lower.As it got higher it got faster .As it got lower it slower.
