Deciduous Trees

Mrs M taught us how to draw a deciduous tree with "vs" on the concrete to give us a good surface. We drew deciduous trees because they had no leaves. In autumn the deciduous
tree's leaves fall off.

Deciduous Trees

Why do the leaves fall off the trees at Greenpark School?

In our classroom we had a sheet of paper to ask questions with a group or with one other person. On our piece of paper we asked questions about leaves. We told the class our questions and Mrs.M wrote our good questions on a big bit of paper. The other day we answerd the questions with another piece of paper and looked up two different websites about leaves and found out answers to our questions. When we found out the answers to our questions the older children made a book about leaves and used the 6 important questions and wrote the questions and answers in our book.We did our illustrations and we took our books to the principal and got a principal's award.

WE ARE ALL BACK AT SCHOOL

It is Week 4 and after three weeks with almost the whole class having time off with illness we are all back at school. It has meant that our topic on LEAVES has been delayed for a little while but we are back on track again now.
