Doug the Digger
On Tuesday a truck came to school. We watched Mr Mac take the digger off the trailer and the digger waved at us. After that we went to the library. Mr Mac told us about his life .Then we went to the digger. Mateo was the first to go on the digger and the truck. The digger can pick
up a stick and put it on two sticks and it can pick up a golfball.

Hands Up for Learning
On October the 30th we had a day called Hands up for Learning. Mrs K counted down from 10. Then we raised our hands and said "hands up for learning". Before we made hands for Hands up for Learning. We had lunch with our parents. And before that we handed out certificates and said our poems out loud to the audience.

Celebrating
Our school topic at the moment is Celebrations. We have done lots of work on Celebrating and posters. We did posters about celebrations like ANZAC Day , Childrens Day and Guy Fawkes Day.
We got two hoops and wrote lots of celebrations and put celebrating labels in the hoops. We did posters about ANZAC Day, Childrens Day and Guy Fawkes Day. We went on the internet and found out where the 3 celebrations were held. The next week we learnt about Diwali and White Sunday.
We got given a doll and we had to make a costume like what they wear in the celebrations of Diwali or White Sunday. The next week we got given a notice about parents to come and share our learning.
